Anomalous scattering terms were measured for Zn 2 + near the K edge in diffraction experiments with zinc tartrate and synchrotron radiation. The effects, as much as 9.2(2) for f ′′ and down to −11.6(1) for f ′, are significantly greater than for the metallic state.
