The experimental observations of the ferroelastic domain structure of CsPbCl 3 , in its monoclinic phase, are compared to the results obtained by a theoretical analysis using twinning by pseudo‐symmetry, or a tensor method. The various kinds of observed domain walls are identified with the permissible W and S walls.
