The chemical preparation and crystal data for CuCr 2 O 7 .2H 2 O is given. Copper dichromate dihydrate is monoclinic ( P 2 1 / n ) with a = 13.19 (4), b = 7.579 (2), c = 7.411 (2) Å, β = 105.81 (5)°, D x = 2.94 Mg/m 3 .
