The influence of orientation on the powder diagrams produced by lamellar structure systems is studied in the case where the bidimensional lattice is very limited and where the layer structure is complex. The orientation distribution must be included in the numerical integration which leads to the line diffraction profile. The technical measurement of the real experimental orientation is discussed. An example is given showing the influence of the orientation on the interference function in the absolute scale.
