Chemical, optical and X‐ray data are reported for an Fe‐end‐member phosphophyllite from Potosi, Bolivia. The unit cell is monoclinic P 2 1 / c , a = 10.378 (3), b = 5.084 (1), c = 10.553 (3) Å, β = 121.14(2)°, Z =2. Refractive indices (±0.0002) for Na light are α = 1.5994, β = 1.6167, γ = 1.6198, 2 V x = 44.3 (4)°
