Crystals of A 2 ZnCl 4 or A 2 CoCl 4 , with A = K, NH 4 or Rb, belong to the orthorhombic system. Lattice parameters, indices and spacings are tabulated for the whole series. All these crystals are isotypic with β‐K 2 SO 4 .
