Crystals of Tl 2 GeS 3 were grown by solidification from melts. The compound is triclinic with lattice parameters a = 8.06, b = 12.70, c = 6.76 Å, α = 96°39′, β = 93°10′, γ = 99°31′. Powder data are given.
