A correction method has been devised in order to eliminate spurious details from the G ( M ) particle‐size function. The method is based on the elimination of the negative minima in G ( M ) by an iterative procedure. It is applied to the distribution of Pt crystallite sizes in Pt/Al 2 O 3 reforming catalysts.
