An in situ sample chamber designed for synchrotron grazing‐incidence small‐angle X‐ray scattering measurements of polymer film microstructure as a function of temperature is described. The chamber operates in a He environment and can be used to perform thermal quenching measurements for time‐dependent monitoring of phase transformation kinetics. Preliminary data on a symmetric styrene–butadiene polymer are presented.
