This paper deals with the real‐space small‐angle scattering (SAS) structure functions and with the isotropic scattering intensity of the isolated single cells of the tessellation of a `dead leaves' model (DLM). The DLM is produced by spherical primary grains of constant diameter d . The cells possess a random shape like the pieces of a puzzle. The maximum diameter of the different pieces is d .
