Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) is an acute inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy that affects nerve roots and peripheral nerves leading to motor neuropathy and flaccid paralysis. This case report describes the physical therapy examination, intervention, and outcomes for a marathon runner with GBS.
