A new model of cellular adrenocortical transplantation after bilateral adrenalectomy in the mouse was established. This model was used to study the effects of the expression of the transgenic MHC class I molecule H-2K(b) (Kb) on graft survival and morphologic features, corticosterone secretion, and the possibility of tolerance induction in the recipient.
