Routine dissection was carried out on an 89‐year‐old female cadaver and new cardiac vasculature was identified and photographed. Dissection showed new vessels were anastomosing about the coronary circulation. The left internal thoracic artery (internal mammary) was harvested for the CABG procedure. Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) remains one of the most common procedures worldwide, and remains the gold standard therapy for symptomatic coronary artery disease (CAD) that involves the left main coronary artery. The review will focus on current advances in conduit harvest and use. Support or Funding Information This dissection opportunity was provided by Firelands Regional Medical Center, South Campus.
