BlueLink resources, which include dissection‐based lab manuals, cadaveric atlas images, and interactive quizzes, are used successfully in University of Michigan Medical School and undergraduate anatomy curricula (Alsup and Fox, 2016; Dudgeon et al., 2016). In Summer 2016, BlueLink resources were included in the DENT 545: Head & Neck Gross Anatomy curriculum for first‐year U‐M School of Dentistry students, in addition to the traditional assigned text, lecture, and dissection. Quantitative and qualitative survey results indicate that BlueLink resources are highly utilized and positively reviewed by dental students, particularly in comparison to the textbook and outside anatomical atlases. Ongoing studies testing the effectiveness of BlueLink materials with first year dental students help to shape future resource growth and development.
