Objective: Federal nutrition assistance program benefits allow for purchase of fresh produce at farmers' markets, but the administrative burden on markets is challenging, particularly in small, rural communities. This study evaluates the barriers and facilitators faced by NM farmers' markets in accepting these benefits and suggests policy recommendations and technical assistance approaches to highlight what farmers' markets require in order to fully realize the benefit of participating in these programs, and to ensure low‐income families’ access to fresh fruits and vegetables at farmers’ markets. Methods: Mixed methods Results : Data collection and analysis will be complete at time of presentation. Grant Funding Source : Supported by the University of New Mexico Prevention Research Center
