The study involved 685 patients aged 32 to 75 years. 457 people ‐ patients with PAF and 90 people ‐ the control group. Equipment used: electrocardiograph MAC‐1, company «Marquet» USA, tredmil‐test firm «Marquet» USA, monitoring of ECG by Holter, Toshiba 3805 ultrasonic device. Parameters were calculated: the interval PQ, filtered wave P‐(FiP), and the difference between FiP and UnFiP, the duration of high‐frequency signal at the end of P wave at the last 5 mV and the rms amplitude of the last 20 ms of P wave (RMS 20). Comparison the duration FiP rate revealed that it was significantly higher in patients with PAF than in the control group: 142 ±7.1 and 124±6.2 ms. Index Under 5 uV was significantly higher in patients with PAF, than in the control group of 29 ±4.2 ms and 18 ±2.4ms, and the index «delta» P in the group with PAF was significantly higher than in the control group of 46 ±1.4 ms and 25±1.3ms. The data obtained revealed the presence of PPP in patients with PAF, 66%, while in the control group at 10%.
