In Astana city the sociological knowledge monitoring has been held to determine the level of awareness and evaluation of risk behavior factors before and after the preventive activities among young people. To this end, the survey was conducted among young people: the main group included 42 respondents‐students SOS “Childrenˈs Village Astana” (14 –18 years), the control group‐52 pupils (17 years). After questioning to determine the baseline level of knowledge, special seminar on the prevention of STIs/HIV was held in the control group, but in the main group for 7 years the subject of moral and sexual education is taught. As a result of study, before preventive activities: the level of awareness in the main group was lower than in the control group, 100% and 62.8%, respectively. The risk factors are low in both groups, as noted above, due to the fact that the majority of respondents did not have sexual relations. Analysis of risk behavior showed that this group does not have reported growing numbers of young people entered into sexual relationships, and among students the number of respondents who entered into sexual relationships has increased‐up to 14 teenagers in connection with the increased number of people with sexual debut at the age of “16–18 years”.
