The organs of the pelvis project so far into the true pelvic cavity that understanding the organization of their peritoneal coverings, especially the broad ligament and its relationship to the uterus, the uterine tubes and the ovaries, can be a difficult. In addition, the pelvic peritoneal reflections are important to a number of clinical concepts. This arrangement of these reflections can be explained and visually reinforced with the use of a bed sheet in a simple demonstration.
