Small heterocyclic structures often posses’ significant biological properties. A number of 5‐substituted tetrazoles show a wide range biological activity1. In order to find new biological active tetrazole compounds we prepared: 4‐hidroksy‐3‐(1H‐tetrazol‐5‐yl) chromen‐2‐on (2a) and 4‐phenylamino‐3‐(1H‐tetrazol‐5‐yl) chromen‐2‐on (2b). All compounds were characterized by means of IR, 1H and 13C‐NMR spectroscopy and elemental analysis. Compound 2a, 2b were tested for antifungal activity using agar diffusion method2 against some yeast (Candida albicans and water fungi). During the research work of microbiological activity of these derivatives 2a and 2b, is proved that these compounds obviously inhibit the growth of Candida albicans and water fungi.
