On 1180 patients (aged 1 – 78) and 420 white nonlinear rats, it was determined that the food product BAPOL (composed of 44.0–45.0% fibers) taken in intestinal infection caused the reduction of mortality in rats by 1.6 times, improvement of clinical course in children, normalization of peripheral blood data and integral hematological indices as well as the contents of T‐ and B‐ lymphocytes, A, M, G‐antibodies, decrease of lipid peroxidation products, normalization of intestinal microbiocenosis. Against ethanol, BAPOL absorbability turned out to be by 35–50% higher than that of activated carbon. BAPOL taken by patients with alcoholic intoxication promoted rapid excretion of ethanol from the body and decreased intoxication signs. In pregnant women taking BAPOL, development of severe forms of gestosis was 1.8 times less, and preterm labor and placental insufficiency – two times less. In patients with allergic dermatosis taking BAPOL, the level of hydrocortisone and prolactin increased, concentration of T‐ and B‐lymphocytes became normal, IgG concentration increased, middle molecules level and leukocyte index of intoxication decreased, intestinal electric and motor activity intensified. In children with atopic dermatitis, BAPOL reduced IgE concentration and circulating immune complexes, increased IgA concentration, improved clinical course. The intake of BAPOL by patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus was accompanied by glucose valid (p<0.01) reduction, decrease of triglycerides by 27% in average, of lypoproteids with very low density by 28%, of atherogenic coefficient – by 29%. In experiments on rats, it was determined that BAPOL improved the organism functions recovery and its immunologic reactivity after apparent death
