Recent studies have shown that chromatin regulators impact tumor cell immunogenicity and immune cell functions, thus impacting responses of tumors to the immune system. We have been using genetic tools to identify chromatin regulators that control tumor responses to the immune system, with the ultimate goal of identifying small molecules which would work together with checkpoint inhibitors to curtail cancers.
