Background Myocardial ischaemia affect serious humen¡ ¯ s health. Some factor induce Myocardial ischaemia. We had determine that Myocardial ischaemia were caused by endothelin‐1 with high dose. Objective The study isto examine if isoprenaline hydrochloride induce Myocardial ischaemia and to investigate the affect on contractility of heart. Method adults rat were used. ST segment of electrocardiogram (ECG)II was used as the index of Myocardial ischaemia (MI). Some other index including heart rate (HR), Left ventricular end‐diastolic pressure (LVEDP), maximal rising and declining rate of ventricular pressure (dp/dtmax), Left ventricular systolic pressure (LVSP), Left ventricular diastolic pressure (LVDP), systolic arterial pressure (AP) and diastolic arterial pressure (DP) were recorded through pressure transducers to investigate. Results The result showed that, investigate ST segment has depressed more than 0.2mv, which was regarded as a index of MI after isoprenaline hydrochloride were used (3mL/kg) administration. Meanwhile, HR changed from 190+/−11b/m to 195+/−31b/m, LVSP increased from 20.9+/−1.2 to 26.5+/−2.3 and dp/dtmax increased from 937+/−70 to 984+/−42 accompanily. AP also changed from 16.7+/−2.3kPa to 17.9+/−1.9kPa. Conclusion Myocardial ischaemia were caused by isoprenaline hydrochloride inducing and had changes inotropic action of contractility of heart.
