The concentration of total proteins, albumins, globulins, cholesterol, triglycerides as well as A/G report in rabbits of Shinshill race (21 male and female individuals), was followed. These rabbits were fed ad libidum for 15 days with mixed food of corn and cabbage and for the next 30 days (15 days each) with corn only, and then cabbage only. The experiment was repeated three times. The results of experiments showed that the concentration of total proteins and albumins in serum of rabbits fed with corn + cabbage was higher (P<0.001) than respective values registered in the same rabbits which were fed for successive 15 days with corn only. Feeding of these rabbits with cabbage only for 15 days, resulted in lower concentrations of cholesterol and triglycerides (P<0.001) and higher concentration of globulins (P<0.01) in comparison with respective values gained when these rabbits were fed with mixed food corn + cabbage for 15 days.
