Plants were potted 1 per container in Metro Mix 500 medium and maintained withir; a covered greenhouse where natural aphid infestation occurred in Jan. For each cultivar, a pretreatment determination of all live aphids was made for each of 3 replicate pots per treatment. Sprays were applied to the point of runoff with hand-held mist bottles. There were 5 applications made at 5-day intervals, with an efficacy evaluation of 3 of the cultivars made 5 days after the first treatment. Phytotoxicity evaluations on all 4 cultivars were made following the lasi treatment.
