The paper presents a step-by-step development of a finite element model of stationary rolling of a radial automobile tire on a surface, where friction is taken into account. The method of finite element modeling (FEM) is used to determine the influence of the method of setting the rolling of a pneumatic tire on its performance properties. The authors come to the conclusions about the advisability of using various methods for creating models of pneumatic tires and give recommendations for optimization of the numerical experiment.
