Preface

As the Convener of this International Conference, I am delighted to extend you all a very warm welcome on behalf of the ICDAMS 2020 Organizing Team. It is with great pleasure that I introduce the proceedings of the 4 th International Conference on Design, Analysis, Manufacturing and Simulation (ICDAMS 2020) which was held online at Saveetha School of Engineering, Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India during 16-17 September 2020 organised by the Departments of Mechanical, Automobile and Agricultural Engineering. The main goal of organizing this conference is to provide a common platform to bring together the academic and industrial communities to address new challenges, share solutions, and discuss future research directions in the field of Engineering in general and in the areas of Design, Manufacturing, and Simulation in particular. The conference program is consisted of keynote address and oral presentations given by renowned scholars, students and faculty members. ICDAMS 2020 offered the opportunity to all the global researchers to share their view through digital platform without any restrictions due to COVID-19. To enrich the quality of program, some selected papers from 4th International Conference on Design, Analysis, Manufacturing and Simulation were invited to be presented. Distinguished researchers from India, Saudi Arabia and London were invited to deliver keynote address regarding the latest research discoveries in their respective areas of expertise. Authors made oral presentations and each presentation was confined in 15 minutes, following by question and answer. I hope that the participants will get ample opportunities to widen their knowledge and network. The conference was managed with Cisco Webex and Goggle Meet, to discuss author’s research work. All accepted papers were subject to peer-review by conference committee and invited reviewers. The papers were selected based on their quality and their relevance to the conference. I would like to thank the reviewers for their valuable time and advice which helped in improving the quality of the papers selected for presentation at the conference and for publication in the proceedings. Finally I wish to register my heartiest thanks to all the ICDAMS 2020 organizing committee members for extending their valuable time & effort and to all the International and National advisory members, Keynote speakers and authors for their sparkling efforts and their belief in the success of ICDAMS 2020.
