Peer Review Statement

All papers published in this volume of IOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering have been peer-reviewed through processes administered by the Editors. Reviews were conducted by expert referees to the professional and scientific standards expected of a proceedings journal published by IOP Publishing. The editors have taken all reasonable steps to ensure the quality of the paper and their decision to accept or reject a paper for publication has been based on the merits of the work and the relevance to the journal. The reviewing process is a single-blind review, whereby the referees remain anonymous to the authors throughout the process. The referees are matched to the paper according to their expertise. The referees are asked to evaluate the paper associated with the scientific content, quality, and presentation criteria, following the IOP’s peer review policy. A decision to reject or accept with revision will be sent to the authors along with any recommendations made by the referees. If the decision is accepted with revision, the authors are required to submit the revised manuscript and the response to the reviewer’s comments to the Editors for evaluation. A final decision to accept or reject will be sent to the author. The detailed information of the peer review process is summarised below.
