Influence of the exhaust system on the vibroacoustic comfort of a passenger car with a transverse power unit is considered. The methodology is presented which, when using road tests and calculating the exhaust system on the finite element model, allows to reduce the levels of vibration and noise from the exhaust system when changing to more powerful engines in serial passenger cars.
