The information on the justification of the design parameters of the spraying unit of the herbicidal sprayer is provided. A technical description of the operation of the sprayer with an automated system for deflecting the spray unit from the axis of the row is given. The results of field studies of the herbicidal treatment of fruit crops by an automated device for applying herbicides to the near-stem zone of the orchard using an additional air flow are obtained.
