Experimental studies of velocity and pressure fields in a cylindrical hydrocyclone to separate emulsions with a low content of light impurities (not more than 1%) are carried out. The obtained data enable us to conclude that in a cylindrical hydrocyclone optimum conditions for the separation of liquid particles are provided.
