The mathematical formulation of the problem to determining the maximum productivity of a fixed hardware design for a technological system of multi-product chemical plant for a specific product is proposed. The algorithm for solving this problem involves checking and ensuring that the conditions for the suitability of the apparatus stages of the system for processing batches of the specified product are met. An example of the problem solution for a specific multi-product chemical plant is given.
