New elastomeric silicone composites with ferromagnetic fillers have been synthesized. The deformation and strength properties of these magnetoactive elastomers in compression with additional imposition of an external magnetic field have been studied. The influence of a filler microparticles restructuring in external magnetic fields, established earlier by means of atomic force microscopy, on the complex of properties of these composites is discussed. The prospects of creating new materials and devices based on the characteristics of such magnetoactive elastomers have been revealed.
