To ensure the required temperature of the cooled object by maintaining the heat balance between the heat gain and the refrigerating capacity of the refrigerating machine, a compressor performance control system is used. The article presents the dependencies of the change in efficiency coefficient at full and partial performance with joint regulation of productivity and geometric compression ratio. The laws of the optimal change in the geometric degree of compression with a change in performance are given. The experimental characteristics of a screw compressor running on R22 freon were used.
