Peer review declaration

All papers published in this volume of IOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering have been peer reviewed through processes administered by the Editors. Reviews were conducted by expert referees to the professional and scientific standards expected of a proceedings journal published by IOP Publishing. • Type of peer review: Single-blind The Fourth International Conference on Civil Engineering Research (ICCER) adopts the single-blind peer review in which the reviewers are aware of the identity of the author(s), while the latter is not informed about the identity of reviewers. This is preferred to keeping our reviewers anonymous which therefore allow them to critique work without being influenced by the authors, providing them with more space to judge research more objectively. • Conference submission management system : WP (WordPress) Abstract. The website (iccer.ce.its.ac.is) is specifically developed and designed for the first time by means of interactive tools to provide convenient access to committees to organise the filing system as well as reviewers and authors to review and submit the papers respectively. • Number of submissions received : 111 papers • Number of submissions sent for review : 111 papers • Number of submissions accepted : 94 papers • Acceptance Rate (Number of Submissions Accepted / Number of Submissions Received X 100) : 84.68% • Average number of reviews per paper : 2 • Total number of reviewers involved : 36 • Any additional info on review process : In addition to single-blind review, similarity and plagiarism detection checks by means of commercially available iThenticate software are also taken into account to verify the originality of written work. Papers will be reverted to authors as if the similarity index is beyond the limit specified.
