in this paper, the approximate solution of linear Fredholm integral equations of the second type on a closed interval is studied. The Galerkin method enhanced with Chebyshev polynomials was used to improve the approximate solution of our study, the related linear system was solved by the Boole’s numerical integrated rule. for testing the efficiency of the proposed method, the comparison with related updated methods was executed.
