Peer review declaration

All papers published in this volume of IOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering have been peer reviewed through processes administered by the Editors. Reviews were conducted by expert referees to the professional and scientific standards expected of a proceedings journal published by IOP Publishing. • Type of peer review: Single-blind All the submitted manuscripts in this volume of IOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering underwent a single blind peer review processes administered by the proceedings editors. Reviews were conducted by expert referees related to the professional and scientific standards expected of a proceedings journal published by IOP publishing. • Conference submission management system: Conference submission management system was done through EasyChair. • Number of submissions received: A total of 252 manuscripts received from various themes related to the conference. • Number of submissions sent for review: After the manuscripts were received, initial screening were made by the conference editors and a total of 160 submissions were found to be suitable for the review process, which then underwent a single blind peer review process. • Number of submissions accepted: After single blind peer review process by the referees assigned by the conference administrators, 80 manuscripts were accepted for presentation and publication for conference proceedings. • Acceptance Rate (Number of Submissions Accepted / Number of Submissions Received X 100): Acceptance Rate = (80/252) * 100 = 31.74% • Average number of reviews per paper: Each manuscript accepted for review were assigned two referees for completely reviewing. • Total number of reviewers involved: A total of 40 reviewers were involved from various institutions relating to the conference theme for reviewing the manuscript. • Any additional info on review process: • Contact person for queries: For any queries, the conference organizing committee members listed below can be contacted. 1.
