Preface

The organizing committee of ACMME 2020 is proud to present the proceedings of the 2020 7th International Conference on Advanced Composite Materials and Manufacturing Engineering (ACMME 2020), held on June 20-21, 2020 in Xishuangbanna, Yunnan, China. ACMME 2020 intends to be a global forum for researchers and engineers to present and discuss recent innovations and new techniques related to composite materials, materials processing technologies, functional materials and manufacturing engineering, as well as their analytical techniques and related environmental issues. In light of the prevention and control of COVID-19 and travel restrictions worldwide, ACMME 2020 was held online. So, we adjust the format to online meeting to avoid personnel gatherings, and the conference could go ahead as scheduled. The conference model was divided into two parts, including keynote speeches and online discussion. In the first part, keynote presentations were delivered in 40 minutes for each talk, all of which were conducted via Zoom. The second part was held through a communication group via WeChat for experts and scholars to discuss more about the talks and presentations. The WeChat discussion lasted for 60 minutes. By submitting a paper to ACMME 2020, the authors agreed to the review process and understood that papers would undergo a peer-review process. Manuscripts were reviewed by qualified experts in the field selected by the conference committee. The committees invested great efforts in reviewing the papers submitted to the conference and organizing the sessions to enable the participants to gain maximum benefit. We do believe your great participation will make our conference success and we would appreciate your participation. We express our heartfelt thanks to IOP publishing house.
