Preface

ICEMA providing a yearly platform for delegates and members to present and discuss the latest research, and our delegates and members will have many opportunities engage in dialogues about Energy Materials and Applications. It also provides new insights and bring together scholars, scientists, engineers and students from universities and industry all over the world under one roof. This year, ICEMA was held online to ensure authors and speakers can be away from COVID-19 and keep safe. The conference was held virtually for 4 days including the online test at the first day, 2 keynote speeches and 1 authors’ presentation session on May 7 th , 3 invited speeches as well as 1 authors’ presentation session on June 8 th . On June 9 th , we made the recording display for those who can’t attend the conference because of the internet connections problem. The Conference has been a good opportunity for participants coming from Japan, Germany, Mexico and so many countries to present and discuss topics in their respective research areas. The conference program was highlighted by our keynote speeches delivered by renowned scholars who shared their new research perspectives with our conference attendees. They are Prof. Lars Johanning from University of Exeter, UK, Prof. Jesus Toribioo from University of Salamanca, Spain, Prof. Monica Siroux from INSA Strasbourg ICUBE, University of Strasbourg, France, Prof. Jun Peng from University of Bedfordshire, Luton, UK. Prof. Nezihe AYAS from Eskisehir Technical University, Turkey. The authors’ presentations cover topics on New Energy Generation Technology and Power System, Energy Materials and Environmental Science. Each author has 15 minutes (including Q&A). The outstanding performance of all the presenters made this conference truly spectacular. The remote conference brings an interesting and convenient experience to ICEMA2020. However, due to the limitations of time zones and network, there are still some regrettable. We are looking forward to more direct communication between participants in the next year. We would like to express our sincere appreciation to Conference Chairs, Program Chairs, Technical Committee Members, and international reviewers. Their excellent professional advice enabled us to prepare this conference. Our special thanks go to our speakers as well as all the authors for sharing their latest research results.
