The article discusses the technique to determine the region of admissible deviations of the asymmetry parameters of the spacecraft descending in the atmosphere from their nominal values. The effect of the principal resonance is taken into account. The uncontrolled descent of a spacecraft in the Martian atmosphere is considered for small asymmetry and a small angle of attack. A numerical simulation was carried out using this technique to determine the range of admissible restrictions of the parameters of the displacement of the mass centre of the spacecraft, the moments of inertia and aerodynamic moments due to small shape distortions.
