The probable mechanism of the porosity appearance in pellets formed by the technology of forced nucleation is analyzed. A review on the problem of increasing the reactivity of a sintered metallurgical product is carried out. The conditions for optimizing the pore structure of the agglomerated dispersed iron-containing materials are formulated.
