The article explores the possibility of developing a mathematical description of the bending of a round beam, based on end supports, to construct a theory of oscillations of a curved shaft of a mine hoist. The results of the study allow to develop a model of transverse oscillations of the elastic shaft and a long rope in order to synthesize a microcontroller control system.
