The article considers one of the important directions in the repair of cars. The examples discussed relate to the case where the holding force must ensure that the additional element is stationary in the axial direction. This is the case, for example, when restoring cylinder liners, when there are no forces and moments that tend to rotate the additional element in the enclosing part. The probabilistic formulation of the composite cylinder problem described above is also fully applicable to the calculation of these compounds.
