Building operational management has consistently become a requirement to fulfill, especially for buildings that are enabled for the public interest. The concept of operational management especially in the maintenance of poor buildings can cause a variety of functions building facilities will be increasingly decreased and affect the quality and comfort of the building, hence it is very important to the owner of the building/Building users know the understanding and process of building operational management. This research aims to study the understanding of operational management and based on research results there are 4 stages of the process in operational management, namely review design, planning, organizing, movement, and Control.
