Expotecnología 2019 “ Research, Innovation and Development in Engineering ”, Expotecnología 2019, took place from October 30 to November 1, 2019, in the beautiful city of Cartagena de Indias (Colombia), with an agenda that joins to the academic dynamics through the promotion of activities that promote culture and research commitment, transferring knowledge and technological innovation, and the management year after year to create spaces updating the educational and professional community of all areas of engineering in Colombia. Expotecnología is a scientific-academic event that comes from the Faculty of Design and Engineering of the University Foundation Antonio de Arévalo - UNITECNAR, in order to provide teachers, students and other professionals, a specialized meeting that seeks, through the creation of academic networking, create a new relationship between science, technology, and society. The conferences took place in an environment of socialization of experiences, research results or discussions around several themes focused on 4 topics, which have been strategically selected to approach from the academic, industrial and social point of view, the present and the future of our profession in our country.
