This article will analyze the impact of international projects on cooperation between business and universities. Multifaceted aspects of interaction between universities and logistics business in the forest sector are considered, the influence of this interaction on the quality of the educational process is determined. The main forms of cooperation of organizations of the forest sector with Russian higher educational institutions engaged in training in the field of logistics and supply chain management are identified. It will be shown that international projects that create new networks between universities and business in the forest sector increase the effectiveness of such cooperation and create new forms of cooperation. The experience of implementation of international projects in Russian universities is analysed and the possibilities of its use for the development of interaction between business and education are determined. The results of an empirical study of cooperation between educational institutions and organizations of the forest sector are presented. Conclusions are drawn about the impact of international projects on the intensity and effectiveness of interaction between higher education institutions and enterprises of the forest sector, which ensures the growth of professionalism of teachers, competence of students and focus on the real needs of the labor market.
