The article discusses the main directions of forest policy in the field of creating forest fund infrastructure, provides foreign experience in accounting for infrastructure and comparative indicators. An analysis of the transport infrastructure of the forest fund was carried out, as well as a methodology for assessing the infrastructure. Based on the data obtained, conclusions are drawn and ways to solve the existing problems in the forest sector are proposed.
