In the era of big data, the problem of leakage of personal information is becoming more and more serious. With the citizens’ increasing legal awareness, people pay more and more attention to the protection of personal information. In the context of big data, this article is based on the impact of big data on the protection of personal information. By studying the current status of the domestic and international legal protection of personal information, this paper puts forward some proposals for the protection of information, combined with the current status and existing problems of the legal protection of personal information,
