Tourism is among the interesting area of research as more people traveling to various destinations worldwide. With the vast amount of places to visit, there is a problem for tourist to determine which place is most suitable for them in terms of their preferences. However, it can be solved by the means of technology. This paper propose the use of recommender techniques to help tourist in selecting the most preferable destinations. A web-based application was built as an interface with the tourist. The result shows that the system is functioning as it expected. Future directions are discussed.
