The paper develops a methodology for computation external movability of mechanisms with two-sided and one-sided ties. These mechanisms are often used in the design of road-building machines. Also this article provides with the some of examples of structural schemes of bulldozers, excavators, motor graders and loaders. Describing the main motions of the operating equipment, here is given some example of using different types of hinges.
