Based on surveys and tests of railway stations in hot summer and cold winter zone in China, analyzed the status quo of railway station buildings. A performance analysis model of the Zhengzhou East Railway Station waiting hall was established to analyse the effects of scattered skylights and different aspect ratios on the lighting environment and energy consumption characteristics, provided reference for the design of Railway Stations in hot summer and cold winter zone.
